Round 1
A distributor and a decorator are different businesses
4imprint Group plc is listed on the London Stock Exchange and runs its North American business from Oshkosh, Wisconsin.1 Its model is to aggregate products from third-party suppliers into one very large catalog, sell them with a margin, and manage the customer relationship between you and the supplier.3 That model delivers selection and scale, and it is genuinely convenient.
It also means that when you order a printed polo from 4imprint, 4imprint does not print the polo. A supplier does. If a color is off or a shipment runs late, the company that sold you the proof is not the company that decorated the shirt, and the fix has to travel through both.
SWAGO decorates in-house. Screen printing, embroidery, DTF and heat transfer all run on our floor in Hallandale Beach. When you approve a proof, the person who built it is a few steps from the press that prints it.
For decorated apparel, owning production beats distributing it on every variable that matters: color accuracy, turnaround control, and how fast a problem gets fixed.
